Dante Posted August 16, 2008 Share Posted August 16, 2008 Overall good effort. I whined about play calling last week so this week I'll praise it. Threw a fair amount on first down and it really made a difference. Edwards looked good as he had time and the D wasn't sure what was coming. I thought he had good zip on the ball as well. Especially on both td passes to Royal. 2nd thing that was very encouraging was we seemed to be getting pretty decent pressure on Roths with our front four. Is having Stroud in loosen things up for our DE's? Big Ben had to make exceptional plays on the scramble to move the ball a couple times. He is good and he is going to make plays on you no matter how good your coverage and pressure is. Anyway, those are the two things that stuck out for me in this game.
