devldog131 Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 How the hell did Seau know right where Trent was going? I guess they had audio of our offensive calls to go along with the video of our D
Hossage Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 well consider that the likelihood of a sneak was high in that situation. Maybe the nose guard was offset in one of the A gaps? and yeah, you can be sure that they scouted us well enough to know where our sneaks are likely to go. On a side note, we are a ridiculously easy team to scout. dont our coaches realize we give away our tendencies from the formations we line up in? When we line up with an H back, we run 26 stretch about 80% of the time. Im dumb, but i can call the play reasonably accurately about half the time.
boomerjamhead Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Haven't read The Murk in over 20 years. Screw that rag.
Saint Doug Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 That really was an excellent read. It really puts in perspective what a rookie has to endure - especially a QB. The rookies are so green and easily intimidated. Just imagine being shoved into a game against the Cheatriots and being pinned down at the 1. Then having Seau screaming at you - telling you exactly what you thinking. I can see why some people say that QBs must have big egos - they need them to survive. This further explains why we need Peters back and quickly.
