According to Chris Brown, Matt Murphy banged up a shoulder tonight and Patrick Estes hurt a leg. We are down to 3 healthy tackles. No word on the severity of the injuries but Murphy was taken to the hospital for an MRI.

How come injuries always happen at the positions where the Bills are the thinnest.... :wallbash:

Maybe now Peters will finally be given an extension so we can carry on with our march to the playoffs.

Both will get cut anyways

Ain't one of those boys that could be called thin.

Murphy's very diminutive for a T. Isn't he the LS? I know he's not just a backup OT. The guy's puny.

I agree but I don't want our starters to have to take all the reps in camp...hard to practice w/o tackles

Svelte is the word. However, no you cannot call any of them that either. When you'e pushing 300 pounds, you're not thin, svelte, puny or any of those words.

lol

Well, Murphy isn't even close to 300 lbs. He's listed on the official site at 6'5" and 264 lbs. I doubt that they underlisted his weight.

Lanky is another word that comes to mind. Has he even ever started a game?

Sounds like a few dozen other guys sitting around on the waiver wire.

They originally signed Murphy as a TE, where he did actually start a couple of games for Houston. The experiment at tackle was going to be a long-term project. He's probably more than 264 now -- that's his weight from last year's media guide -- but still not 300.

And I'm no medical expert, but that project looks like it's on indefinite hold. Murphy stayed on the ground for several minutes before he was helped to his feet, then walked slowly and gingerly off the field holding his arm to keep the shoulder from moving.

yea Murphy is another TE projected to be OT...i dont think he woulda or is going to be cut unless his injury is seriouse....at most he might be put on IR and Bills look for another OT to fill the spot

At least even Bill wants us to win badly enough that he won't pull out the L. Walker and K. Chambers dolls....
