BF_in_Indiana Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 You Stankee fans have to be pissed. You are about to be knocked out after blowing a 3-0 lead to the Red Sox in this ALCS. I think NYC will go into a very long depression after tomorrow nights debacle that you can already see coming from a mile away. I don't see NY winning this game, they are finished. Who's your daddy now Stankees????
Mikie2times Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 I'm not a fan of either Boston or the Yankees but I just want to let their fans know that no matter what happens tomorrow this was one of the most enjoyable series I have ever seen. Unfortunately for Boston I see disaster on the horizon, everything is pointing in their favor right now and for that reason I think the Yanks win game 7. It really would be fitting for a team so cursed to have this miraculous comeback halted one game shy. Their fans have been threw hell and back and I hope they pull it off tomorrow but for the time being I have 86 cursed years to back up my prediction. Good luck to both teams in what is surely to be one of the most anticipated games in baseball history.
envirojeff Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 I agree, KzooMike, but I'm pulling for the Red Sox. I can't stand Baseball - WAY TO SLOW !!!, but I have enjoyed every minute of watching this series. Jeff

dib Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 Ahh Baseball, A thureaaaaa.....thump. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Like A Mofo Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 I just love how you have to concentrate on the Yankees when you team the Cardinals, are falling right in line with you other team that makes a habit of choking, the Indiana Pacers. Its comical.
Guest RabidBillsFanVT Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 The team that won Game 6 in dramatic fashion ALMOST ALWAYS does not have enough gas left to win Game 7. So, in that case. I say the Yankees win Game 7 at home. Regardless who wins, the NL SHALL prevail in the World Series. Go Cards But remember.. The BUCCOS shall return. Ohh yes, we SHALL return!!!!!

Oiliver Perez looks like he can be a top flight starter, Jason Bay should win the ROY, and they have other good solid ballplayers (Jack Wilson, Kendall, etc)...if the Pirates can just get another pitcher and maybe find another solid bat, theyll be on the way up.

ExiledInIllinois Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 No, not in the least. If I was a fan of any other team, I might be pissed. This has been a great series... It is ending the way it should. I am very glad that the Umps can get things right and keep a high level of professionality. Truly the best officiated game... Now if we can just get the BS out of the NFL? After the Yanks took a 3 game lead... I really wanted the BoSox to make a series out of it. I didn't want to hear all their needless whining. The Sox can win and I would be very proud of the Yankees. You forget... The Yankees could have won last night with a Clark HR... It just didn't go right. The Yanks will always be there. It is funny... Because, in a way, I am very happy fro the BoSox. They are keeping it good. I know the NYY players feel the same way? I just wish the BoSox fans wouldn't have been such arses and got on Belltrans butt early on. Even before yesterday, I thought it disgraceful that they Booed their team in game 4... Even chanted Pokey, Pokey! NYY still have the knowledgable fans... WINNING DOES THAT. Did you see that lady on Belltrans HR? A Cubs fan would have been all over it... She didn't even flinch... She knew how to ALMOST help her team.

Who's your daddy now Stankees???? Yeah...shut the !@#$ up, already! 1) its getting tedious 2) Let the Sawx WIN THE DAMN GAME before running smack 3) Your team has its OWN problems. Worry about the mess in your own yard before ragging on your neighbor.

You're a loudmouth obnoxious pain-in-the-ass fan who has absolutely, positively no ability whatsoever to exhibit even the least amount of class. You're the guy in the sports bar that everyone wants to beat up. You're the guy in the stands who grabs the ball away from the player and denies your team a homerun. You're the guy at the party who has everyone shaking their heads wondering how the fug you got invited. Only a mother could love a boy like you...and I'm not so sure about that. So before you start getting cats and dogs to join up in unison as well, shut up already, BF.
Guest Guest Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 Hey we are tied with a big game tonight, you need to beat the mighty pete munroe just to get to this point! The yankees and the red sox are exactly where they are supposed to be, the home team is supposed to win 3/4 and 2/3 at home....kevin brown will be breasts tonight and escort the yankees into the WS against good old Roger clemens......... The wisdom of Littlefield is proving to be winning over the free agent strategy of the previous regime. I just wish Brian Giles could have been a part of this. To think many former Pirates pitchers are in the playoffs now. That fact makes me sad, but its a part of the game.
nick in* england Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 My Daddy is John Manning. Thanks for asking

The 2001 Diamondbacks in the World Series (though Game 6 wasn't that dramatic).
gantrules Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 I agree with Kzoo....I have been watching these games glued to the TV and I don't have a rooting interest. Great series. Unbelievable series....but, let's not forget about the Stros who were down 2-0 as well and have come back to take 3 in a row. Also an awesome series that just isn't getting enough coverage. Unfortunately I have basketball tonight so I won't be able to catch the first half of the game. Good luck to both the Sox and Yanks fans. Inevitably one of you are going to be heartbroken tomorrow.
