Heitz Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 He got popped right on the ball - that sucked though...
sven233 Posted August 10, 2008 Author Posted August 10, 2008 Wright with a nice run, but he has to hold on to the freaking ball!!!!
Heitz Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 Nice - I have the Sirius and TV just about synced up!
bizell Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 mckelvin w/ the nice tackle to keep mcmullen from a first down.
bizell Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 mccargo has been unimpressive from what i've seen this game.
sven233 Posted August 10, 2008 Author Posted August 10, 2008 mccargo has been unimpressive from what i've seen this game. I would agree. If you look at that last series, he was getting handled 1 on 1......not good. I really thought with some of the strides he was making, he was heading in the right direction. I still think he has the talent, but he is not playing up to it so far.

Hazed and Amuzed Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 Hamdan might have the "Chroise" but he seems to be the check-down king tonight.
OCinBuffalo Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 Ok, all three d's have been getting burned by draw plays. Perry Fewell needs to do some x's and o's work on stopping that.
VOR Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 So I guess Colt Brennan goes back to looking like a 6th round project with a weird delivery again. Oh well, it was fun (for him) while it lasted.
OCinBuffalo Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 Youboty has impressed me tonight. Corner hasn't looked bad either. It's really going to be tough for the coaches to make cuts, so far... still 3 games left though.
Risin Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 Youboty has impressed me tonight. I agree. And he needed this for his confidence. He hasn't had an easy time since being drafted, and he's a good kid.
OCinBuffalo Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 So far Wright looks wrong. He needs to show better than this or it's going to be tough for him.
Risin Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 Glad Uncle Ralph made us draft Wright. For those of you that haven't heard the story, basically the Bills wanted to go in a different direction when Wright was drafted, and Ralph slammed his fist on the table and said he wanted that running back. (something about somebody in his family knowing Wright, pardon me if that's not exact) Don't know how credible the story was, but I wouldn't put it past the old man.
BEAST MODE BABY! Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 The Bills are playing vanilla defense. With backups no less. Chill. Not that we're DOOMED, but my problem with this is people say this every year. When we suck in the preseason, people say "Hey, it's just the preseason. Relax." And then people, after we suck during the first game say "Hey, don't worry, it's just the first game." Etc, etc, ad nauseam. So, I myself notice a severe lack of push from the first team even with Stroud in there. Our ends also looked ineffective. It looked eerily similar to last year...and yes, I realize it's just the pre-season but I expected more push in the pocket.
