CosmicBills Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 First two pitches were in the 93 range...he looks sharp damn
Mike32282 Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 They need to step out take their time and work him make him stand out there in the cold and wet , 76647 I agree. Make him work for it.
Mike32282 Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 First two pitches were in the 93 range...he looks sharpdamn 76648 Blame that damn Reebok company.
erynthered Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 Am I wrong? It looks like Shill is still having problems pushing off the right foot.
Mike32282 Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 Damn, Schilling does look better than last time. And they only got 11 pitches out of him. Next inning, make him work for his money. Come on Yankees.
CajunBillsBacker Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 If this series goes to game 7, I hope it snows. That would make for an interesting game.
Mike32282 Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 Am I wrong? It looks like Shill is still having pronlems pushing off the right foot. 76656 He hasn't thrown a strikeout yet. I agree. He doesn't look like he is 100% out there. However, he still looks better than Lowe probably would.
millbank Posted October 20, 2004 Author Posted October 20, 2004 like it or not Schilling going out a pitching tonight is the stuff legends are made of, almost reminds me of in hockey Leafs Bobby Baun took as shot cracked a bone in his leg , took a few shots came out scored the game winning overtime goal and then played next game as well. Friend or foe, its admirable those who do such things, and we get to see it rather than read about it.. Long as he plays well and loses
Pete Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 Schilling does not look that sharp to me either. The Yanks need to work the count better. 94 is a little slow for Kurt and his splitter is not working. Keep the line moving Yanks! Lets go!
erynthered Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 He hasn't thrown a strikeout yet. I agree. He doesn't look like he is 100% out there. However, he still looks better than Lowe probably would. 76660 Just watch his leg and foot, bottom of the inning........
Mike32282 Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 Man, they are definitely trying to stretch out Lieber. This is not good.
Pete Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 Then again Lieber does not look sharp to me either. He is missing his spots. Come on Jon. Oh yeah- DP while I speak! <------Lets go you
Mike32282 Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 Nice double play to end the inning. Come on Matsui...let's see what you can do. Burn Schilling!
Mike32282 Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 Both pitchers look off a bit. Lieber is definitely NOT showing what he did in game 2. Hopefully, the batting will pick it up today for the Yanks.
