Tipster19 Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 The Jets couldn't boot Pennington fast enough. How will this impact the team's chemistry? Only time will tell but I would venture to guess that even in a best case scenario it will take several games for them, or at least Farve, to get all on the same page. The other possible result is that there might be key players (Coles?) who aren't exactly thrilled with the way the Jets handled Pennington and his release from the team. http://www.newsday.com/sports/football/jet...,7834516.column
DrDawkinstein Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 i honestly believe there is less than zero chemistry in that locker room. to the point that some of the guys who have been battling for that team over the past few years are PISSED about these new guys and their BIG contracts.
BillsNYC Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 WFAN down here had a couple announcers saying anything less than a Super Bowl appearance this year would be a failure.
marioc Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 It would be better if they would have kept him and then pulled Favre out as soon as he did something bad and then give Pennington the starting job back. And then as soon as Pennington sucked, put Favre in. Repeat as necessary. This is great for lockerroom "morale".
