Chilly Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 14 team leagues are tough, and its a PPR league. Overall, I like your team. I actually think Driver could return to being a top-10 WR this year, and Colston of course will also be. The LT/R.Brown combo in a PPR league is pretty good. QBs are a little weak, but both have great upside, so one of them could emerge as a top-10 QB. I also like the Bills D to finish in the top-10 this year fantasy wise. LJ Smith could finish top-12 if he gets back to form, but I don't like Kellen Davis this year, Jets have too many options at TE. Overall, if Ronnie stays healthy, I think you'll be competing for a playoff spot. I don't think your team is OMG AWESOME, but then again, in a 14-team league, whose is? If one of the QBs break out you could have a solid team. Quote

I think he is ready to emerge but this is based mostly on hunch. I really wanted Bree's but that just didn't happen. Of course, as you can imagine, TE's become very lean as you get to your second one. Keller was one of the last few that had starting potential. I like the Bills and the Broncos D;s based largely on being "bad weather" teams. I'm counting on Bills D getting some turnover scores and possibly punt return TD's. Macelvan(sp) and Parrish? Those count for the D in our league. Quote
BuffOrange Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 Do you have to have a backup everywhere? If not get another RB asap. As mentioned it's not a bad team for a 14 teamer. I also like Driver because there's more luck in TD's than there is in yardage and I don't expect Jennings to hog all the scores for GB again. I have a hard time seeing Schaub & Eli on the same team just because I personally have them rated right next to each other....if you took them more than a round apart I think whoever you took first could've been a reach. Hi Orange. Yes we have backups for every position. We start 1.QB 2.RB's 2.WR's 1. Kicker 1. Defense We are allowed to make any changes we want prior to the start of the season. So, any player not drafted I can pick up as long as I drop a player. I did this as I dropped Dangelo Williams(Panthers) in favor of Chris Johnson(Tennessee) who I think is going to have a great year and a bit of a sleeper. Quote
