Beerball Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 This from USA Today... LIVERMORE, Calif A Miami artist has agreed to correct the spelling errors on the ceramic mural she assembled outside the city's new library. The artist is a graduate of the Mike Tyson Language Institute. The errors included misspeeling of Einstein, Shakespeare, Vincent Van Gogh, Michelangelo and seven others. Not surprisingly, the artist initially refused to correct the errors. linky

Surfmeister Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 What's the problem?? It's not as if people can READ in Miami anyway. They just see the pretty colors on the mural on their way to their next drive-by.
gmac17 Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 There is a statue of Michelangelo in Delaware Park - you pass it while on the 198. For years (and maybe still now) the inscription said "Michael Angelo"
