apuszczalowski Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 i dont think turtles have complete, skinned bodies under their shells. id go with some viral marketing campaign. Where the Wild Things Are comes out pretty soon i believe Is that supposed to be more of an adult movie or a childrens movie? I'm assuming its based off the book, which was a childrens book, so I don't know why a movie studio would do something like this for a childrens book I'm leaning more towards Cloverfield 2, and that its supposed to be either the parasite like creature that falls off of it, or a baby of the acutual creature. As for what it was that was used to make it, a dead turtle with its shell removed is my best guess. It has the face of a turtle, and the smaller legs, although it is also probably just a fake they created in a special effects studio

Where the Wild Things Are is going to be a Spike Jonez movie adapted from the book. from the preview I saw, it is pretty surreal. I wouldnt exactly call it a "kids movie". according to a lot of digg.com users (where the article is linked) that pic is of a decomposing otter.

That much I can say for certain.
