GG
The test for 2008 is a bit different The National Football League and General Electric Co.'s NBC Sports will announce Monday that they plan to stream on the Web 17 regular-season games, mostly Sunday night matchups -- the first time the league has widely distributed complete games live on the Internet in the U.S. The deal, which kicks off with the season opener on Thursday, Sept. 4, is the biggest step so far by the NFL to wring some value out of the Web. But it is a tentative step, covering only games that air on NBC, excluding the NFL's 239 other games that air on other networks, including CBS, Fox and ESPN, during the regular season. Nor does it include the league's playoffs or the Super Bowl, which will air on NBC next year.
BillsFan-4-Ever
The test for 2008 is a bit different but only if you buy Sunday Ticket and pay extra Free Enterprise. What reason would make a person with NFL Ticket and DirecTV want to use their computer to watch a streaming game when they can use their 32 in HD TV!!! Chandler#81
but only if you buy Sunday Ticket and pay extraFree Enterprise. What reason would make a person with NFL Ticket and DirecTV want to use their computer to watch a streaming game when they can use their 50 in HD TV!!! Fixed. Can't think of a reason. If you're on second shift, you'd miss too many games to bother with Sunday Ticket.

DieHardFan
Wondering how they limit access to just DTV NFL Ticket subs? Assume it is not just (easily shared) user/password combo. Also how do they enforce blackouts? By user or by access area?
