Buftex Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 Does anyone know, yet, when the NFL Network is scheduled to air the Bills pre-season games, this year...I swear, I am not too lazy to look it up myself, I am just using a very antiquated computer, and I cannot access the NFL Network sight....
cantankerous Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 I scanned ahead and all it says is "NFL Preseason TBD"

This doesn't include all of the 3 am replays, but it's the best I can find right now. prelink
eball Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 This doesn't include all of the 3 am replays, but it's the best I can find right now. prelink Great find. How about that -- two live NFL Network HD games for the Bills: their preseason opener at Washington, and the grand opening of the Colts' new stadium in week 3. The other two games (Steelers and Lions) have early morning replays the very next day, so the DVR crowd can record them to watch over breakfast. Nice job, NFL Network!

BillsNYC Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Anyone know if the above has been finalized? Looked on NFL Network and there haven't been any updates. If so, those of you in or near NYC will be able to catch the first 3 at McFadden's.

I get the Steelers one live too being local. I remember just a few years ago how I wasn't able to see a single preseason game.

eball Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 I remember just a few years ago how I wasn't able to see a single preseason game. Tell me about it. For years I would wander aimlessly from sports bar to sports bar, hoping to catch one with an "old" satellite that could pick up a Bills preseason game. I realize many cable subscribers despise the NFL Network, but for DirecTV subscribers it's a wonderful thing.

I am a cable subscriber...I don't despise the NFL Network, just the NFL for keeping their product away from us who don't want/can't get the NFL Network. Ditto for the NFL Ticket. Of course, I heard a few months back, that the NFL Network was going to be purchased by ESPN, meaning it would become available to most cable subscribers. I haven't heard anything in a while thogh...I was hoping the deal would be in place by now...

Last year's prime time DAL-BUF game was easily one of the most exciting game of the '07 season. I think it has paid dividends...
BuffalOhio Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 The Steelers preseason game will be shown at Friday morning at 12am on NFL Network. That's the latest update I can see. I just ordered the recording over the web to my DirecTV DVR. Can your DVR do that?

YellowLinesandArmadillos Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 I am so grateful for this post. Mucho appreciado. Nice schedule, too bad I have cable and a family. The NFL network is useless.
Sen. John Blutarsky Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 Nice schedule, too bad I have cable and a family. The NFL network is useless. Maybe you could sell for family for a DirecTV dish or a DVR? Just a thought.
