John from Riverside
He is one of only 5 first rounders (in the top 15) that has not signed yet. The guy before him has signed The guy behind him has signed Whats the fricken problem......
BillsVet
Patience is a virtue. Maybe his agent is Eugene Parker. Either way, he won't be the last first rounder signed and we'll see him on the field in due time. I would venture to say the FO is busy right now working on Evans contract, McKelvin, and deflecting all the noise regarding Jason Peters.
Realist
I'm sure he'll be signed before the night is out.

I read in my local paper, that the agents are demanding a 20% increase over last season's first round signings. More $$$ for unproven players... Buffaloed in Pa
Ralph is Cheap? The Peters thing I agree with. Peters took the money and ran with it when he signed his new contract. Now he whines about when he makes the pro-bowl one time. I say trade his Elvis -pig ass. It`s always a oneway street with these clowns. Elvis Pig is what my son and his friend s call him . Why I don`t know.

CJPearl2
It may be the term of the contract. A lot of teams try to put an extra year into the contract and a lot of the players/agents fight it.
The Quebecer
Maybe the sticking point is that the Bills are looking for a 6 year deal and McKelvin wants a 5 year one. That might be why it's taking a little longer...

That might be why it's taking a little longer... Agreed, knowing the inflated markets for corners... Bills are most certainly trying to lock him up for 6 years. STicking point is probably crazy guaranteed moeny for losing out on a year of free agency.

PromoTheRobot
Courtesy of NE39 at BillsZone.com forum: The guy drafted right ahead of him signed for 5 Years/$18.9M/$13.8M guaranteed. The guy drafted right after him signed for 5 years/$17.5M/$11.5M guaranteed. That means McKelvin slots right in at 5 Years/$18.2M/$12.65M guaranteed. Expect a deal this weekend.
