Bear Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 Wow, a conditional 7th? Rice is not the reciever he used to be, but he is sure as hell worth a conditional 7th. Good pick up by for the Hawks.

col_forbin Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 why didn't TD come up with this deal??? oh yeah he doesn't understand value.
Bear Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 why didn't TD come up with this deal??? oh yeah he doesn't understand value. 75506 Yes, 30 teams in the NFL DID NOT trade for Rice, and TD is obviously at fault.
col_forbin Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 He is in my book!!! He should be doing something to shake things up. I don't know about you, but I hate losing.
Greg de'Ville Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 Good. Bills get a second chance to shut him down.
PromoTheRobot Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 why didn't TD come up with this deal??? oh yeah he doesn't understand value. 75506 You are assuming Jerry Rice would accept a trade to the Bills. Don't forget Rice's agent brokered this deal. He wanted to play with a coach he has a releationship with (Holmgren) and he wanted to go to a contender. The Bills do not qualify under either point. So it's probably not TD's fault this time. PTR
cåblelady Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 Poor guy. He'll look awful in those putrid uniforms.
zow2 Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 ouch, the best WR of all time gets you a 7th round pick in return. It was probably a kind gesture by Seattle since it would be embarrassing for Rice to get his outright release. Anyway, Koren Robinson has already dropped more passes this season than Rice dropped in his whole career. Pretty good move by Seattle.
