Tipster19 Posted July 20, 2008 Posted July 20, 2008 It looks like the deal will get done late Sunday night. I'm glad to get him out of our division. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/8362550...deal-for-Taylor

duey Posted July 20, 2008 Posted July 20, 2008 I hate the Fish, obviously, but I always respected Jason Taylor. I hope he has a good year.
H2o Posted July 20, 2008 Posted July 20, 2008 Jason Tayloir is one heck of a player. Glad to see that guy gone from our division. Our games against the Fins just got that much easier as well.
HurlyBurly51 Posted July 20, 2008 Posted July 20, 2008 Peters handled him, but still good to have him out of the division.
Fan in San Diego Posted July 20, 2008 Posted July 20, 2008 Washington is where careers go to die. PTR Where did Zach Thomas go ?
H2o Posted July 20, 2008 Posted July 20, 2008 Where did Zach Thomas go ? Dallas, where big names go to gag and die in the playoffs.
VOR Posted July 20, 2008 Posted July 20, 2008 Miami should have the 1st overall pick again next year.
Nanker Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 Miami should have the 1st overall pick again next year. They might get the 34th from that deal as well.
lets_go_bills Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 I was happy when I heard he got dealt. Couldn't be a better scenario, not only is he out of our division, he is out of our conference too. Great deal for Miami and Washington. Miami gets a good draft slot, Washington gets a good player.
ans4e64 Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 I feel bad for the QBs in that division: DeMarcus Ware, Trent Cole, Umenyiora, Tuck and now Taylor.
VOR Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 Miami should have the 1st overall pick again next year. And count on another sweep for the Bills this year.
lets_go_bills Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 I feel bad for the QBs in that division: DeMarcus Ware, Trent Cole, Umenyiora, Tuck and now Taylor. True that.
scribo Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 They might get the 34th from that deal as well. How do you mean? Danny may have made a big mistake in how he replaced Joe Gibbs, but there is no way the Skins will hold the second worst record in the league, especially not coming out of the NFC. They will be in the NFC's playoff hunt with Taylor knocking around Eli and Homo.
Tcali Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 It looks like the deal will get done late Sunday night. I'm glad to get him out of our division. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/8362550...deal-for-Taylor Typical idiot move by the Redskins.
H2o Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 I feel bad for the QBs in that division: DeMarcus Ware, Trent Cole, Umenyiora, Tuck and now Taylor. Yeah, you can bet that #5 up in Philly just cringed at the news.
Lori Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 Typical idiot move by the Redskins. According to the story, they just lost two DEs -- including Philip Daniels -- to season-ending injuries. In that light, bringing someone in isn't a horrid idea. Not sure how Taylor will hold up against the road-graders at RT, though.
Lone Wolf Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 I do not like this move at all. The Dolphins are not a factor this year either way, but they will be a tough team a couple of years down the road. Now they will have another high draft pick to add to the mix. I would have rather seen them hold on to Taylor for a year or two until he retires.
Tortured Soul Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 Miami should have the 1st overall pick again next year. 1-15 teams typically have huge bounce-back years. I'd expect them to win six games.
