Chef Jim
The guy should be hailed as a hero. Shutting down the government is always a good thing.
PromoTheRobot
One guy can bone an entire city This is scary yet hilarious. This geek has the entire city government by the balls. I wonder if they would consider waterboarding to get the passwords? PTR

Wacka
This will probably make SF government work better! I just heard on the local news that he is still getting his salary even though he is locked up!
Bmwolf21
so he is supposed to go though every vaguely titled thread to see if this is a repeat..... One of my pet peeves on message boards. Vaguely titled threads (like "Wow" or "Did you see this?") followed by someone calling other people out for re-posting the same story. indeed... Fezmid
Either the story is poorly written (likely) or the rest of the IT admins there are complete morons (also likely). There's always a way to gain access if you have physical access to a system.

Then you have the vendor send you a new machine and restore the backups onto it, shipping the bomb-laden server to the vendor or the bomb squad. KD in CA
I just heard on the local news that he is still getting his salary even though he is locked up! Of course! He's got his full union protection that those San Fran "progressives" are soooo proud of. Couldn't happen to a dumber city.
