Mike32282 Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 I'm glad this is going back to NY. i like to celebrate at home. Especially when they dance around the stadium and play NY, NY!
erynthered Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 No, it's over. Boston has this game won. 75370 Dont give up.......
CosmicBills Posted October 19, 2004 Author Posted October 19, 2004 Dont give up....... 75384
Mike32282 Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 That would be the nail on the coffin for this game.
Mike32282 Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 That would be the end of it. The announcers just said that the Red Sox have NEVER lost an extra inning game at Fenway.
CosmicBills Posted October 19, 2004 Author Posted October 19, 2004 See, this is what I was afraid of. I almost think it would have been better had the sox won right then and there. Now, even if we score one run, who is going to close it for us? Vasquez? Brown? Either way we end up using more of our pen that we can't afford to do at the moment. I will happily eat crow if the Yanks can pull this game out, but I just think they are wasting pitchers right now

erynthered Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 Moorman's gonna come in and hit a homer for the yanks, no? Go Bernie

What wil be will be... Stick with one arm?
CosmicBills Posted October 19, 2004 Author Posted October 19, 2004 Moorman's gonna come in and hit a homer for the yanks, no? Go Bernie 75400 Hahahaha! That would be great:) I love Moorman. Man, I am pulling for posada. He can erase a very bad ALCS right here with a big hit.
ExiledInIllinois Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 Not too many Sox fans following this thread? I guess whatever works? I like the Moorman idea Eryn...

I like the Moorman idea Eryn... 75404 This is like lunch bag let down. First the yanks shut them down in the bottom of the inning, then the stripes fade........... I'm getting tired......... But I'm not going anywhere
Mike32282 Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 Okay, now it's OVER! We got Loaiza pitching with 2 men on base. No one else is left in the bullpen.

I don't want to hear the chowder heads whine and cry the money thing. Money buys you something, not championships... Maybe being there. Entertaining games maybe. Keeps your product/brand good. Is that Sox/Bills/Cubs sympathy slipping in? Hehehehe.... Don't go there Eryn...
KD in CA Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 Is it possbile for Damon suck more? Why is he even in the lineup? If he was a Yankee, he'd be traded to Texas in the offseason.
Mike32282 Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 OMG! A double play! This game is STILL GOING! Come on Clark, Cairo, or Jeter. Let's end this !@#$ing game with a homerun or even a bunch of basehits!
CosmicBills Posted October 19, 2004 Author Posted October 19, 2004 HOly MOses! Cairo has come through twice. COME ON JETER! PROVE ME WRONG BABY!!!!
ExiledInIllinois Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 I am going to lock a tow... Work your mojo ghosts! Ruth Gerhig Mantle DiMaggio GO!
Thurman's Helmet Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 This Sox team is hanging tough in spite of Damon. I cant believe how bad he's been at the plate.
