CosmicBills Posted October 18, 2004 Author Posted October 18, 2004 Alright, I'm talking to myself now...but I don't care:) Great inning by Moose. Now the Yanks just need some hits.
Mike32282 Posted October 18, 2004 Posted October 18, 2004 Nice job Moose! 5 strikeouts. Now we need to see the Yankees power hitting step up!
CosmicBills Posted October 18, 2004 Author Posted October 18, 2004 anything new greg? 75121 Navy, it's top of the 4th. Still 2-1. Posada just led off with a single. Moose struggled in the first inning but has been lights out since. Pedro is sharp too. Ruben is up...
CosmicBills Posted October 18, 2004 Author Posted October 18, 2004 Alright Ruben (he walked Navy). 1st and second, no outs with Tony coming to bat, Cairo on deck.
Mike32282 Posted October 18, 2004 Posted October 18, 2004 Come on Clark. We needed that! 2 on base, with 0 outs. You can do it!
CosmicBills Posted October 18, 2004 Author Posted October 18, 2004 Argh. Tony strikes out. Could have been worse though. Cairo is due for a big hit...
Mike32282 Posted October 18, 2004 Posted October 18, 2004 Argh. Tony strikes out. Could have been worse though. Cairo is due for a big hit... 75130 Yeah, Cairo is due.
CosmicBills Posted October 18, 2004 Author Posted October 18, 2004 LET'S GO RED SOX!!!! 75131 Why?
BF_in_Indiana Posted October 18, 2004 Posted October 18, 2004 Why? 75135 Well if you were "bribing" me I could root for NY.
Mike32282 Posted October 18, 2004 Posted October 18, 2004 Come on Jeter. You have done NOTHING so far!
CosmicBills Posted October 18, 2004 Author Posted October 18, 2004 Damn. Jeter couldn't come through. To the bottom of the 4th we go. Pedro is tiring though. Moose has to hold them here, let's see if Pedro can make it through the Arod/Sheff/Matsui minefield in the 5th.
CosmicBills Posted October 18, 2004 Author Posted October 18, 2004 Alright Moose! Here comes the 5th inning. Moose keeps getting stronger! Come on Arod!
Thurman's Helmet Posted October 18, 2004 Posted October 18, 2004 Moose at 71 pitches through 4 innings.
Mike32282 Posted October 18, 2004 Posted October 18, 2004 I agree. Moose is looking just as good as game 1. He went from a ton of pitches in the first inning to only 4 less than Pedro and 1 more strikeout. Keep it up, Mussina! And hopefully our hitters will begin to hit the ball, even base hits will help to add to the score.
Mike32282 Posted October 18, 2004 Posted October 18, 2004 alright, another walk for A-Rod! One man on base, no outs. Come on Sheff!
Mike32282 Posted October 18, 2004 Posted October 18, 2004 Damn it! First Sheff grounded into a double play, then Matsui lined out. Come on Mussina. Let's go! 1-2-3. Easy outs. please.
CosmicBills Posted October 18, 2004 Author Posted October 18, 2004 Okay, the Yanks are still very much in this game...
