lets_go_bills
Sad to hear this. The guy was talented and played really hard and really well in Buffalo. But wow, he is just so dumb it's insane. He's got nine kids with nine different chicks and can't stop hitting the reefer. He got a second chance in Denver, signing a huge contract with like 20 mil guaranteed. Playing in that run scheme, people were saying he was a lock for 1,400 yards a season. He f***ed that up real bad. Only lasted on season. What a disgrace. MikeInABQ
This really is a sad situation. He's not the only one though. You have Chris Henry, "Pacman" Jones, Matt Jones, Ricky Williams, Cedric Benson, Koren Robinson, and countless other players in the NFL and college who end up in these same kind of spots. The pros are trying to live out a real life version of a rap video and the college kids think it's a given that one day they'll be living out the real life version of a rap video. Some of these people come around, some lose everything. I just hope that Travis Henry is one of those that finally comes to his senses and realizes that life can be alot more than what he's making of it right now. OK, now I've heard enough. PacMan Jones gets involved in a SHOOTING, and he's mentioned in the same breath as a guy who smoked a bit of ganja. Not that Travis isn't a total 'tard for passing up millions of dollars, exhilaration and adrenaline rushes out the WAZOO, and most importantly the chance to keep playing the game he LOVES, but my God, the substance policy is supposed to protect the other teams from players using ENHANCING drugs that give them an ADVANTAGE, not a benign substance that has yet, in over 100 years of SERIOUS effort to this end, to be proven to cause ANY harm to the user, but more importantly doesn't ENHANCE one's abilities on the field, and in fact probably LIMITS them. The whole thing is so dumb. Not unlike the parallel universe where chocolate is a banned substance because it makes people giddy, and President Cheney just HATES when people are giddy...... PacMan Jones needs to be in prison, along with that murderer in Baltimore and that animal abuser from Atlanta (and all the others who still do that sh--). Henry should be allowed to smoke as much of that crap as he wants, so long as he earns the starting job at training camp. Quick, someone check his footlocker for Snickers bars. He can smoke as much as he wants, and he can do it while asking you if you want fries with your order
