stuckincincy
Have you ever looked at the nutrional information on the side of the box 1 burger, Calories: 420, Fat: 36g, Carbs: 0g, Protein: 23g That is without a bun, and lets be honest, it is so hard to eat just one. Pretty hefty...burgers are. Here's a McD's Quarter Pounder w/cheese and bun: http://www.nutritiondata.com/facts/fast-foods-generic/8051/2 That's a very informative site, for those who are interested in such. I don't eat many hamburgers (the indignities of old age apply), but I do have concerns about grocery store frozen and fresh uncooked ground beef - the salmonella, e. coli thing. So I buy beef cuts that are on sale, reserve some for a roast, and grind and freeze some of it for burgers. I confess to buying a couple of those McD dollar value double cheeseburgers when my wife is away on business...

I could use to lose a few pounds. I went for life insurance last week. My wife was approved at the quote they gave her. My quote jumped once they took my height & weight. 6-1 215. The guy said my ideal weight for my height should be 175. I told him I have not weighed that since my 1st year of college.
Ramius
Fresh are better, but for frozen burgers, its tough to beat bubba burgers.
stevestojan
5 guys burgers and fries, the end. I keep hearing about this restaurant. Wish there was one in WNY. The best burger I've had in a while is from, surprisingly, Cheeburger Cheebuger. You know you're at a place that makes good burgers when they ask how you want it prepared, and when you say medium, it actually comes out medium. Dr. Fong
Fuddruckers has some good burgers. They have one right by the mall. I used to really like their burgers. Lately they've changes somehow. The beef doesn't taste as good and they've screwed up the recipe to the buns somehow. At least the ones around here are like that.

The beef doesn't taste as good and they've screwed up the recipe to the buns somehow. At least the ones around here are like that. There was one about 4 miles north of me. It was by an interstate exchange, and has been shuttered for over a year. Not that it ever evinced a packed house. Also a chain named "Roadhouse Cafe" in the same vicinity. My wife and me would patronize them occasionally, but it became obvious that they were marching on the road to being a failing business. They proceeded to offer iffy food, chintzy portions, delayed service, new help with all the charm of a neglected, stinking grease trap. I was amazed that this "Fuddruckers" outfit chose that name. Everybody knows the implication, and they must have been very thick-headed in not realizing that their cutsy name would cut them off from part of the market. "Daddy! Daddy, can we go out to eat! Sure kids - let's go to Fuddruckers!" "Daddy, Daddy! - what does Fuddruckers mean?". Duh...

There's actually a place called Cheeburger, Cheeburger? I gotta wonder if Lorne Michaels is aware of this. By the way...In-n-Out. It's what a hamburger is all about.
