millbank
Schopp on Wgr Mularkey has just said that if Travis Henry is healthy he will start Ravens game......... link on buffalobills.com Mularkey news conference he says Sam Adams will be handled in house, will not say what they will do. did Sam ever say he would not play for jerry grey again,,," I could say no, but as I said I will keep it in house" "Travis will be starter, Willis will get more playing time as we go" why stay with Travis" he has been productive, shouldnt lose job to injury"

Rico
If so, time for Ralph to put his foot down & tell MM who he wants starting. McGahee made his first NFL start in place of Travis Henry, who was out with an injured foot, and to paraphrase birthday boy Bills owner Ralph Wilson, it was a "smash-mouth debut." (snip) "He has a chance to be a great back," gushed Wilson, who received a game ball on his 86th birthday. "He hits that line hard and he might get stopped, but he winds up barreling through for another three or four yards."

Mile High
Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Mularkey say just last week that, "The best players will be on the field and if we need to make a change with players then we will."

Mile High
Maybe he thinks that Travis is better? 74790 maybe, but is he an upgrade from what we all saw yesterday? i'm not saying just the yardage willis had. in all aspects blocking, catching and heart (ie.. leg drive when he appeared to be stopped). i really like henry but i think willis brings more things to the table. BF_in_Indiana
This is why this team will CONTINUE to lose. GET RID OF HENRY NOW, he's a DISEASE.
Typical TBD Guy
I have no problem with Henry starting, provided Mularkey does the following: 1. plays McGahee for all third-down and goal-line situations. 2. replaces Henry if he fumbles at all. 3. replaces Henry if he misses a single blitz assignment that leads to a sack. millbank
Interesting he said about Sam Adams that any discipline will be kept in house, he will not tell what was said to him or what was done. Wonder if more to come on this....?

Im happy with that. Back to the topic, this makes no sense. We go 0-4 with henry, not ONE 100 yard game. McGahee comes in, 111 yards, and a Win. Seems to me like the choice is simple. GET RID OF HENRY NOW, he's a DISEASE. 74806 i don't know if that's the ticket either. i really feel that we need a strong dose of both of them. which we haven't seen in weeks past. however willis needs to start. which will make travis play better and keep willis playing the way he did yesterday. BF_in_Indiana
Willis won't touch the ball if Travis is playing. Travis won't take himself out of games for Willis to get carries, yesterday you saw why.
