buckeyemike
Link to video from Channel 3 in Cleveland. I sit on the board of a religious organization called Lighthouse, Inc. This organization provides a mobile church on wheels to inner city Cleveland, also providing a meal to people who come by. It will serve up to 1500 people every Saturday from April to December, with holiday dinners around Christmas. Most of the people who come to the "Heaven Train" bus are children. This report features the next step for Lighthouse...helping to repair homes in the inner city, with donated materials and volunteer work. My prayer is that people are helped and they see the work of the Lord in these projects.

stuckincincy
I'll add that when food drives come around, like the US Postal Union one - don't forget the personal hygiene products and cleaning products. Shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, hand soap, laundry detergent, windex, polident and the like. Paper, pencils and pens, are always welcome for young and old. 9v batteries for smoke detectors. Purchase them when on sale, using the coupons.
