I believe Obama is going to be a better President for the Labor movement and working families than McCain. McCain simply does not work for me - tax cuts for the rich, when their companies & personal wealth grows it will then trickle down to working families. Because he's a democrat? I also said it depends on WHERE and WHAT they spend the money on. If he is going to spend some money on programs that will benefit the country, not just simply drain it. Then I can support that. Face it this country is broken right now, things need to be done. Can McCain fix them? I personally do not trust nor believe that he can. I have no idea how anybody is going to get us out of the mess that your heroes put us into. Personally I'm still leaning toward dicing Iraq into 3 "states" to at least try and keep these factions that have been warring for centuries somewhat at arm's length. I don't despise the man, but find it disturbing that he can take both sides of an issue and people eat it up. But I do respect his drive and appreciate that we have finally, as a nation, moved beyond race in that you can become President of the US regardless of your skin color. I've written this before and since you 'know' me so well you should've remembered that. I also criticize Republicans, and think that they as corrupt as the 'other' party (maybe more so). So my core values are someone else's ideas. Well you're partly right, I do have mentors in my life who I respect and admire and have helped shape me into the person I am, so in that regard I agree. I'll also admit that I read Drudge regularly, so go figure. I do try to explain my point of view when posting, unlike many others. But the bottom line is I really don't care what you think.
