obie_wan Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 TSN grades each unit in their annual preview guide. Here are the quarterbacking units: A Bengals Colts Patriots Steelers Chargers Saints A- Buccaneers B+ Jaguars Cowboys Giants B Broncos Texans Cardinals Eagles Rams B- Browns Seahawks C+ Jets Titans C Bills Raiders Falcons Panthers Vikings 49ers Redskins C- Ravens Lions Packers D+ Bears D Chiefs Dolphins
Hazed and Amuzed Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 I can agree with that list for the most part. Although I think the Texans and Cards are about a spot too high.
apuszczalowski Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 The Bucs are only in that spot because they half the leagues QB's on their roster j/k Wheres the outcry here that Buffalo is not near the top. Don't they know we have Edwards? Must be JP as a backup holding them down

apuszczalowski Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Well considering we have Hamden we should be at at least an A. Man, I forgot to include the #3 QB in that, JP must really be holding the team down on their rankings
John from Riverside Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Our ranking on this list will be different after this year.....
keepthefaith Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Man, I forgot to include the #3 QB in that, JP must really be holding the team down on their rankings Rest assured that without JP on the roster, the Bills would be rated "D".
silvermike Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 The Bucs got an A-? Would anyone alive or dead trade Derek Anderson and Brady Quinn for Jeff Garcia and Chris Simms? WOuld you trade Eli Manning for them? David Garrard? Tony Romo?

stuckincincy Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Strength in numbers apparently. Seems so... Bad thought - Palmer drops to #4 in 2003 and the Jets pick him.
/dev/null Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Well considering we have Hamden we should be at at least an A. An A? With Hamden the Bills should be Valedictorian!
silvermike Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Also, I think you really have to award A+'s. Drew Brees and Phil Rivers are fine QBs, but they're not playing the same game as Peyton Manning.
thebug Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 Rest assured that without JP on the roster, the Bills would be rated "D". That's the rating we would get if he was the starter GO BILLS!
/dev/null Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 That's the rating we would get if he was the starter GO BILLS! Flame war in 3... 2... 1...
ax4782 Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 As to the original post, I wouldn't call a ranking of 20 out of 32 "behind most everyone else." That would be middle of the pack. I expect that after the season the rankings will look different. Plus, guys, its TSN. They really should stick to ranking the QBs in the CFL.

That's not middle of the road.
