Fewell733 Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 anyone remember in the early 90s when they tried to replace the Shout song cause some college had claimed the rights to it. I think that lasted 1 week - they played "Rock around the Clock" instead I think. I've never heard such booing after a Bills touchdown at Rich.
JasoninMT Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 As I recall it wasn't a college... it was the artist and a rights thing where they wanted to be paid each time it was played... Then they were able to show their version was "different" enough from the original - or that they used a different artists version which was in the public domain... or something like that.
Mike in Syracuse Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 Shout is old, worn out, tired and way way past its time. God forbid they actually change it to something decent. Not that the above song represents something decent

LongLiveRalph Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 Shout is old, worn out, tired and way way past its time. God forbid they actually change it to something decent. How dare you!!! And how could you possibly say it's "worn out," considering the Bills' offense over the past decade?

Cornerville Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 Based on how inept the Bills offense has been, the new song should be 'Its A Miracle' by Roger Waters when scoring a TD
Buffalo_soul-dier Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 the shout song is my cell phone ringer...they better not change it....EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Endzone Animal Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 How about: "Toronto's got a spirit, talkin' proud, talkin' proud."
erynthered Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 God. Why did I open that link! I HATE that kind of music.
bman Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 You think the shout song is bad...did you every hear the Dolphins?
Mike in Syracuse Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 I knew my comment would draw the anger of my fellow Bills fans but sorry, it's the truth. Seriously, is there any other team that has a touchdown song that's 30+ years old.
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 How about: "Toronto's got a spirit, talkin' proud, talkin' proud." the good ole days. Talking proud wasnt just about the Bills but about Buffalo. Be good to see the city developa new theme and song for city and bills to use.
