apuszczalowski
mine is to wet the brush, to rinse of any airbornes, apply paste, wet paste, brush teeth Are you really getting rid of the "Airbornes" by just using water? (and I'm assuming you aren't using hot water to do it either, which should kill some germs)

Chilly
Wetting the Brush first allows you to dampen the whole brush head much easier, making all the bristles nice and evenly soft, instead of having an uneven patch of bristles from where the toothpaste covered the brush up at. Therefore, wetting the brush first is preferred.
