Would make sense... Chicago is Fox for "stinky place" (famous for the wild onions)... Pretty terrible and swampy land down here. Seeing that the natives would spend the summer up in what is present day WI... Green Bay area and then come down the lake for the winter, where the climate was a bit warmer.
