Brewery tours. That was about all we did when I went. My friends that live there also love to go to the Brewers game, ball park is supposed to be nice and affordable but I haven't been there in baseball season. If all else fails, hit the casino...

What else should I spend my evenings doing?

What else? Making your dream come true!

I think if you get any chance, you should take it. Any rule, break it. You're gonna make your dream come true. Doin' it your way!

I know a place that does a decent fish fry on Wednesday nights, so I got that covered. What else should I spend my evenings doing?

Definitely go to the Brewers game! I went up there for a game from Chicago, great time!

They play home against Baltimore on both Friday and Saturday night this coming week.

Enjoy.

The Charcoal Grill on S. 27th street (Franklin, WI, about 5-10 miles from the airport) has an excellent Wisconsin pizza: bratwurst and cheddar cheese. Wood-fired oven. Mmmmmmmmm...

Disclaimer: It has been about 5 years since I was in Milwaukee, so the quality could have changed.

If there is any kind of festival going on - don't miss it. I lived 2 years in Milwaukee and those lakeside festivals have the best food, fireworks, and music you can imagine. Not sure when you're going, but Summerfest starts on June 26. It's the granddaddy of all festivals.

Alice Cooper informed me that Milwaukee is actually pronounced "Milli-Wa-Kay" which is Algonquinn for "The Good Land".

We're not worthy! :blink::thumbsup:

I've heard that Big Al's Diner serves some good food, though there always seem to be a lot of teenagers hanging around there.

I did read in the flight magazine that Fonzfest is going on.

beer, beer, and more beer. Milwaukee is a party town! Check out a Brewers game if they are in town. It is one of the newer stadiums in sports, very nice, and a good time. Lots of shuttle from bars to and from the game. My kind of town! Midwest honeys are fine, fine, fine! Enjoy!
