Sorry to disagree, but a place at the WGRZ building is more appropriate.

The Wall of Fame is reserved for football achievements and contributions.

Welcome to the JFK and MLK syndrome.

 

Tim was, as far as I know, an exceptional person, but his legacy is in what he did not what he did't do.

No Ring of honor at the stadium.

No streets named after him.

and, especially no holidays in his honor.

There's already a park named after him, on Indian Church Road in West Seneca. (Yeah, out by the old Empire HQ.) That's where they'll be holding a candlelight vigil this Sunday night at 9 p.m.

 

But the Wall of Fame? He's already up there as the 12th Man.

That's a pretty myopic sentiment.

 

He should be placed on the Wall of Fame of Life. He was the real deal-Americana.
