Peter Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 RIP Very bad week for the Buffalo Bills family. I met him a couple of times and he was a great guy.
Bmwolf21 Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 ABC News just cut in with the story. horrible news if true. Tim Russert was a great journalist and a friend of Buffalo. RIP Tim Amen.
nodnarb Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 I'm speechless. This is the first time I've been choked up about a news anchor/figure. And not just because he was a huge Bills fan and I'm a hopeless homer for anyone in the public eye who is on 'our side'. He was the single best, smartest, and unbiased, no-BS anchor of our time. And he'll probably be replaced with a vacuous Connie Chung-type. Dammit
PromoTheRobot Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 Too bad he's going to miss the Bills winning the Super Bowl. I hope the Bills plan some sort of tribute. PTR
SuperBills12 Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 Man --- this is worst news. Tim was a great person, he will be missed.
MattM Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 Wow--I'm stunned. Absolutely stunned. A great Bills fan and a great journalist.....
apuszczalowski Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 He wasn't just a Bills fan though, he was a Buffalo fan. I remember him having the Stanley cup on his show telling the Sabres to go on and bring it home when tehy were in teh ECF's against Carolina
