Tipster19
???!!! I'm truly blown away by this news. I can't recall a greater ambassador for the Buffalo community. This indeed is a black day for Buffalo and it's citizens. RIP Tim and my thoughts and prayers goes out to your family.
ChevyVanMiller
Man, I am in shock. I spoke with Tim when I was writing my book. He had written "Russ and Me," but it hadn't come out yet. A great guy who wore his love of Buffalo on his sleeve. May the angels be your guide Tim. R.I.P
Jeff Wright's Mullet
There couldn't have been a bigger supporter of Buffalo and the Buffalo Bills than Tim Russert. Rest in Peace. I think we should put his name on the Wall of Fame right next to the "12th Man"

bills44
This truly sucks. Russert just seemed like a genuinely good guy. As someone said earlier in this thread, he never stopped being one of us.
Just Jack
Time for this... A Town A Team A Dream (tater, thanks - I've been looking for that online. Thanks to you too, Jack.) Thanks to both of you. I was going to post those links if someone else hadn't yet.
ndirish1978
Russert was amazing, this is a terrible loss. He spoke at my undergrad graduation and I loved every minute of it.
Dwight Drane
He was sealed with The Spirit and sealed with the Spirit of Buffalo. If you need to know how to tell if a person is good, look into Russert's eyes and watch his walk. Horrible......
buckeyemike
One thing you guys may not know about Russert: While he was in law school here, he did some work promoting concerts. He got a guy from New Jersey to make his first Cleveland-area appearance in 1974. That artist was Bruce Springsteen. He played at John Carroll's gym.
