\GoBillsInDallas/ Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 You can't have it both ways. Actually, there are plenty of guys on Chippewa Street that have it both ways.
The Senator Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 Actually, there are plenty of guys on Chippewa Street that have it both ways. I thought those guys were all on Allen Street
Jock Sniffer Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 I thought those guys were all on Allen Street Senator Craig?
stuckincincy Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 Senator Craig? Go with a proven page boy winner, not somebody in an airport sting operation - Barney Frank...
PromoTheRobot Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 What controversy on the team is this causing? As far as i know, the only controversy this is causing in on the bills' message boards and in the buffalo media. The other 99% of the USA seems to think nothing of it. You want controversy? How about Obama and his wife's secret terrorist fist-bump, huh?? That's cause for panic. PTR

Plus, what would Dope & lapdog want the Bills to do release Lynch? That willhappen when GR starts criticizing the Sabres.
drnykterstein Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 You want controversy? How about Obama and his wife's secret terrorist fist-bump, huh?? That's cause for panic. Yeah, if that does not make it painfully obvious what the media actually thinks of the public, I have no idea what will.
Turk Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 Are you kidding? You are aware that Schopp is a member of MENSA right? I don't believe that I think you have confused that with menstration cuz he does............menstrate.
Turk Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 I'd like to hear some folks talk about Bulldog and his college days at S.U.N.Y Fredonia, you can't tell me with all the bars there and his propensity for alcohol that some law bending behavior never occurred. Once again everybody has an opinion but if you have legal counsel and they advise you to handle things a certain way you just do it. By the way I heard Bulldog ran from cops in college trying to give him a public urination ticket I don;t know if its true or if theres another Bulldog but jeez be a man and accept your mistake.
Buftex Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 What controversy on the team is this causing? As far as i know, the only controversy this is causing in on the bills' message boards and in the buffalo media. The other 99% of the USA seems to think nothing of it. I don't know. The story has been getting bigger, and more national attention in the last few days. Now, it has been thrown out there that three other Bills may have been involved, or at least, witness to the crime. I like Marshawn as much as anyone, but I think he has handled this really poorly. As Bills fans, we seem to have eliminated what is "right or wrong" from our lexicon, and now everything is just a matter of "legal or illeagall." Marshawn is not required by law to speak, and does not have to incriminate himself...but just because he doesn't have to, it doesn't mean he shouldn't. This story is getting much bigger (even away from the message boards), when it could have been nipped in the bud about a week and a half ago. Lynch has done a disservice to himself, and to the Bills. If he was trying to avoid incriminating himself, or someone else, to avoid a suspension, he likely screwed it up. The longer this lingers, and other players names get dragged into it, the more likely the leauge takes notice. At the very least, his reputation as a good guy is taking a shot, with some of us. If he (or someone in his circle of family and friends) had simply hit someone, and did what any decent person would do, this wouldn't be a big deal. I think the Bills are probably very concerned with this I can't believe the rationalizing that is going on here, from people who are usually, as Pete said, ready to pounce on the mis-deeds of other teams players. IMO, the nature of this incident, and the way it has been (mis)handled is far more damaging to the player, and the team, than getting popped for posessession.

Lynch is a Buffalo Bill. As with Hardy, he can do no wrong (until he leaves the Bills) This incident is a misunderstanding and you should apoligize to Lynch and his loyal supporters on this board for defaming him. thank you for your support

If Wilson and staff get pulled into a Grand Jury proceeding, it's sports news nationwide. The paparazzi are probably already booking flights and rubbing their foreparts together in anticipation. They already are abuzz thanks to the Pats* thing.

Happy Days Lois & Clark Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 I can't stand Mike Schopp & decided NOT to listen to Schopp & Bulldog this week. I may not even bother listening to those guys until training camp starts I'll stick with the morning guys
makbeer Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 A few of us here were quite worried about character with Marshawn when he was drafted...hoping this is as bad as it gets. I don't think this will do much, but if it scares him back to the straight and narrow in the long run the Bills will come out better for it.
davefan66 Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 Are you kidding? You are aware that Schopp is a member of MENSA right? Menses? THAT would explain alot!!! BTW, who said he was a member of mensa? schopp? give me some proof before you quote that idi*t!

As far as i know, the only controversy this is causing in on the bills' message boards and in the buffalo media. The other 99% of the USA seems to think nothing of it. The story is on the front page of ESPN-but we are the only one making a big deal about it. As for controversy- do you think Brandon, Jauron, Lynch, etc are sick of being asked questions? Do you think that the offense is wondering what is gonna happen to Lynch- or are they 100% focused on football? http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3440239
Fan in San Diego Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 Does sneaking a bottle of booze into a bar make him a 22 yr old the friggin antichrist? Apparently Schopp and Bulldog feel that way- EVEN THOUGH BULLDOG ADMITTED TO BRING FLASKS INTO CONCERTS AND SPORTING EVENTS!!!!! Marshawn is definitely not too bright or refined but I don't think he's a bad guy. Sneaking a bottle into a sporting event or concert is not the same as sneaking a bottle into a bar. For the record, I don't sneak a bottle into anything. I just take my lumps and pay the retail price. I'm getting too old for the embarrassment of being escorted out the place for such a small thing.
