Chilly Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 Today on RCP was an article by Jay Cost as a frame for the general election. I've said on here a few times that both candidates were particularly appealing this year because they were both viewed as "change" candidates, and ones who were, at least part of the time, viewed as centrist. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/horserace..._a_frame_o.html Much of this is the reason why Obama and McCain are close. I was arguing this point of view with OCinPhilly when he asked how the Democrats seemingly made it closer than it should have been, though I said it much less eloquently than the article made it. He also describes IMO an accurate view on why Obama convinced the super delegates and not Clinton.
jimshiz Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 This frame of reference makes it pretty easy for me to know who NOT to vote for.
