Lori Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 Jay Glazer seems to think so ... Coming off Super Bowl win, Strahan to retire
Bill from NYC Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 Jay Glazer seems to think so ... Coming off Super Bowl win, Strahan to retire I guess it depends on how he will do in terms of his divorce. His was the worst settlement I ever saw. It might not even pay for him to continue playing.
Chandler#81 Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 Seems sincere, but I'm suffering from Favre deja vu here. Both played an OT game in the conference championship and the survivor won the Bowl. No erosion of skills with either one. I think they just hate training camp.. IIRC, the Stones first 'Farewell Tour' was in '84..
KD in CA Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 I'll believe it when I don't see him on Sept 4th. This might just be his way of saying "I don't do training camp anymore". He's a great player, I'd like to see him return.
KRC Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 He's not retired until he files the paperwork with the NFL. I will believe it when that happens.
UConn James Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 I'll believe it when I don't see him on Sept 4th. This might just be his way of saying "I don't do training camp anymore". He's a great player, I'd like to see him return. When Bruce used to have that mindset, the reaction was pretty much, "OK. " Coughlin is a hardass, tho. We'll see.
Cornerville Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 Count the Giants in the mix to acquire Jason Taylor.
