tennesseeboy Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 I saw a very powerful flick the other night, but it certainly isn't for everyone. The Diving Bell and the Butterfly. JEEEEZZZZ it was a hard watch but very much worth it.

rockpile Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 "Hard Time""Short Cuts" "City of God" "Birdy" "The Long Riders" "Affiliction" Those come to mind most imediately! Long Riders is a classic! What about Brother From Another Planet?
The Rev.Mattb74 ESQ. Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 I never understood why Payback and 3000 miles to Graceland didnt become bigger hits. Also like Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels, Way of the Gun, and Snatch. Going old school the Shootist was pretty good, I believe it was the Dukes last film. However in my humble opinion nothing will ever beat Apacolypse Now.
