Simon Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 Not only did I get to see my first child graduate from HS yesterday, but I also got to sit there while she gave a commencement speech since she was the Valedictorian of her graduating class. Girl worked her ass off and there's not a thing on this planet she could do to make me more proud of the kind of young lady she's becoming.
Stussy109 Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 Pat on the back for planting the right roots, and nurturing them as she grew.
buckeyemike Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 Way to go for your daughter! You obviously did something right.
Just Jack Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 [insert standard TBD response] We need to see pics before deciding if she is a worthy Valedictorian. [/end standard response] And congrats.

IDBillzFan Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 Congratulations. I have this vision of you and the Mrs. discussing college options for your daughter, then having your daughter walk in and say she has some ideas for college options, to which dad immediately something like. "This is an automated response. This subject is already being discussed by other people. Please confine your comments to the current discussion."
