RayFinkle Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 Cause that'll make a huuuge difference in the way AQ treats any captured Americans. That is supposed to be the difference between them and us. Unfortunately that line is blurred to the point that it is difficult to tell where it is anymore.
dib Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 That is supposed to be the difference between them and us. Unfortunately that line is blurred to the point that it is difficult to tell where it is anymore. If you are going to win a war on terrorism, you have to 'out-terror' the terrorists.
dib Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 lol at wars on concepts war on drugs war on homeless war on terror theyll never end the war to end all wars. Right. That went well.
In-A-Gadda-Levitre Posted June 2, 2008 Author Posted June 2, 2008 If they did The Messiah would rise to the surface and walk on water until he reached landfall in the US, just in time to give us change we can believe in! then you woke up from your dream and realized The Messiah's hand was on the bible at the inauguration
In-A-Gadda-Levitre Posted June 2, 2008 Author Posted June 2, 2008 Been in 18.5 years and NEVER seen, heard, or been on a prison ship. We have a very small brig on amphibs and carriers but thats for bad sailors. I'm not doubting your experience or patriotism in any way, but if they were doing something like this, it would be totally on the dl
erynthered Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 That is supposed to be the difference between them and us. Unfortunately that line is blurred to the point that it is difficult to tell where it is anymore. You mean we're not following the Marcus of Queensbury rules against blood thirsty terrorists? Fer shame. Fer Shame.
RayFinkle Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 You mean we're not following the Marcus of Queensbury rules against blood thirsty terrorists? Fer shame. Fer Shame. Marquess of Queensberry

RayFinkle Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 Ah, yes. The correct spelling treeatment. Gotcha. Ah, yes. Setting up the straw man arguement so you can knock it down. Gotcha.
erynthered Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 Ah, yes. Setting up the straw man arguement so you can knock it down. Gotcha. Bleeding all over a nice thread. Gotcha.
Fingon Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 The Geneva Conventions do not apply to terrorist subjects. The conventions protect uniformed soldiers only; which is why spies can be executed on the spot. Same goes for terrorists.
NavyBillsFan Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 I'm not doubting your experience or patriotism in any way, but if they were doing something like this, it would be totally on the dl Im just saying in the Navy part of the house. I dont know what the CIA has as far as naval intel.
GG Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 No attacks since 1993 prior to 9/11/01. Looks like an avg of 8 years Really? None?
nucci Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 No attacks since 9/11/01. Absolutely shocking... Wait a minute...Are you praising Bush for no attacks since 9/11/01? Are you kidding? If that's the case, are you giving him a pass on the 9/11 attacks? I have a hypothetical for you. Say I was driving drunk and killed one of your family members. After serving my time, years later someone brings my name up and you go off on them and tell them what happened. Their response is, well he hasn't killed anyone since then.
Pete Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 No attacks since 1993 prior to 9/11/01. Looks like an avg of 8 years What would you call the USS Cole incident? Tanzania? Nairobi?

Have any lingering doubts about the OK City bombing? Just McViegh...? Kohbar Towers. Somalia. USS Cole. 1993 World Center Trade Bombing. The African Embassy bombings. The admissions about not killing Bin Ladin when he was there for the taking. The pin-prick Iraq attacks. The continual crap about incursion into Iraq, especially with the previous Administration's words: http://www.fas.org/news/iraq/1998/11/01/981101-in.htm Seems- that Bush et al did just what Clinton desired, eh? Oh, in recognition of our poster that sees fit to put words from V.P. Cheney as his signature - here are the words of our notable, trusted Democrats about WMD - at least when their boy was in office. http://www.breakthechain.org/exclusives/demquotes.html
