Swift Sylvan Posted May 31, 2008 Posted May 31, 2008 I'll agree with Top Secret, Shawn of the Dead, and Mad Mad Mad Mad World, all really good films I'm also going to add Horse Feathers and other Marx Brother Movies as well as mentioning Addams Family and Groundhogs Day.
Cugalabanza Posted May 31, 2008 Posted May 31, 2008 "After Hours""Diner" Ooh, those are both really great movies.
Andrew in CA Posted May 31, 2008 Posted May 31, 2008 Great. I see this and anticipate posting and people take the sails out of my wind: Yall: Top Secret. My first thought was the bookshop scene... KDinCT: Used Cars. "I'm Roy L. Fuchs, you SOB!" Bills44 sticks the knife in: Slapshot. "Lady, your kid looks like a fag." Buftex has the follow up: After Hours. Maybe the best nomination. I'll suggest Repo Man. "She highlights the f*** scenes for you?" I know someone said it, but definitely Dirty Work

LevysEraII Posted May 31, 2008 Posted May 31, 2008 Schindler's List Just kidding. Bowfinger is my choice.
eball Posted May 31, 2008 Posted May 31, 2008 Can the original "Fletch" be considered underrated? Still one of my favorite movies to watch. "Hopalong Cassidy killed himself here. Bow and arrow...very wierd." "Does this proposition entail my dressing up as Little Bo Peep?" "Can I borrow your towel for a sec? My car just hit a Water Buffalo." The list goes on and on...
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted May 31, 2008 Posted May 31, 2008 Clifford (Martin Short playing a 10-year old boy) Hon mentions: Dude, Where's My Car? Half-Baked
K-Gun10 Posted May 31, 2008 Posted May 31, 2008 Drowning mona, Shawn of the dead, Screwed, and Hot Fuzz
WWVaBeach Posted May 31, 2008 Posted May 31, 2008 Just thought of another but not sure if it fits in either the underrated or comedy categories but had some very funny lines... Fargo
DC Tom Posted May 31, 2008 Posted May 31, 2008 I don't know if it can really be considered "underrated", but The Ref is one of my all-time favorite Christmas movies. And it definitely can't be consider underrated...but nowadays Some Like It Hot doesn't get nearly the respect it deserves.
DC Tom Posted May 31, 2008 Posted May 31, 2008 Schindler's List Thank you for saving me the trouble of getting everyone pissed at me again.
Huuuge Bills Posted May 31, 2008 Posted May 31, 2008 Clifford (Martin Short playing a 10-year old boy) Hon mentions: Dude, Where's My Car? Half-Baked Forgot about half-baked, awesome movie.
Fewell733 Posted May 31, 2008 Posted May 31, 2008 Bowfinger is my choice. good call - that movie is very underrated.
