MattyT Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 ElectionLittle Nicky Grandmas boy Strangers with candy Slackers Out Cold I heart Huckabees Bad Santa MST 3000 Man with two brains O' Brother where art thou?<--- Not sure if it's under-rated but defenitly a classic. Election is a good call and O'brother is great for its quirkiness, but I thought I Heart Huckabees was a pretentious POS.
Hazed and Amuzed Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 but I thought I Heart Huckabees was a pretentious POS. I see what your saying and agree but I liked the preteniousness. I thought it was part of the joke and if it wasn't then that makes it even funnier.
Hazed and Amuzed Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 Although I'm not sure you can classify it as a comedy but Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas was one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. Benico Del Toro was great as the "Samoan" and Depp was spot on. It's too bad Johnny Depp will always be remembered as a Pirate now. He is a damn good actor.
WWVaBeach Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 Surely you can't forget the Airplane movies! "Don't call me Shirley"!
Huuuge Bills Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 Surely you can't forget the Airplane movies! "Don't call me Shirley"! I think that would go on the list of best comedies. 30 years later, and it's still shown 5-6 times a year on Comedy Central. Definately not under rated.
EZC-Boston Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 Does Royal Tannebaums count? It has an awesome cast and on first view most people say it is no good, but watch it 100 times and it gets good...
Cugalabanza Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 Does Royal Tannebaums count? It has an awesome cast and on first view most people say it is no good, but watch it 100 times and it gets good... Lookout! I brought this up recently as a good movie and I got blasted for it.
Pete Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 Life is Beautiful one of my all time favorite films- there are some hilarious scenes despite the heavy subject matter Foul Play Father of the Bride Showgirls- you mean that wasn't a comedy? Most underrated comedy TV show ever- Police Squad I will come up with more later, I need more coffee
