nobody
I have been using the link: http://38.116.147.101/wgr But now all I get is the Colin Cowherd show and before/after that public service announcents/commercials - no actual GR radio shows. Huuuge Bills
What, no one else listening to GR over the internet? Most people round these parts prefer to drive rusty nails through their ears.

They may be prohibited from streaming certain syndicated programs like Jim Rome. Since Rome charges people to listen to his show on his website, having stations like GR streaming for free would cut into profits. They probably run alternate programming at such times. nobody
Thanks all. It must just be the WGR stream that was/is wacky. I am now listening to bulldog. Usually instead of the jim rome show they would stream a repeat of the morning show from 12 to 3. The last few days it was just the public service stuff. Yesterday the 3-6 was also public service but today it is ok.
theesir
I have no idea where you got that link, but try this one instead:http://webclust1.liquidcompass.cc/sos4cust...ayer.php?id=WGR Lori, That link he has (Idon;t know where it came from but I have it bookmarked as well) is a live stream of the radio station not the web stream. That means it has the actual commercials that are on the station, not the ones broadcast on the webstream and it is more "real time" as opposed to the couple of minute delay on the webstream. Lori
Further information on this from Andy Roth: WGR recently updated their player, so neither of those links will work for much longer. Those of you with "Locker Room" accounts would be advised to log into same on the WGR website to make sure you have the new link.
Questfor31
I listen to WGR every morning from Detroit. I posted a link on my website that works every time. Goto my Buffalo Bills Page and scroll down to the WGR link on the right hand side of the page. It will work.
Lori
I listen to WGR every morning from Detroit. I posted a link on my website that works every time. Goto my Buffalo Bills Page and scroll down to the WGR link on the right hand side of the page. It will work. That opens a separate Media Player page, as does the link in the original post. Per the e-mail I received... Subject: WGR StreamingDate: Wed 05/14/08 01:34 PM Lori – Just so you know, that link will not work soon because we have updated our player. I recommend everyone update their WGR Locker Room account to make sure they can listen on-line anytime. Thanks! -Andy ... those links might not work for much longer. If you need more detailed info, I'd suggest dropping an e-mail to "monkey (at) wgr550.com".
