BillsGuyInMalta Posted October 17, 2004 Posted October 17, 2004 McGahee needs to start pounding out those 1st downs, eat up the clock and FINALLY have this team put away a game. We cant put the game on Drew's arm again, thats how we lose games.

Pete Posted October 17, 2004 Posted October 17, 2004 We cant put it in our defenses hands either. That was a huge stop at the goaline though. Come on D!
CosmicBills Posted October 17, 2004 Posted October 17, 2004 Actually I think our passing game will be fine. We don't throw deep anyway and Drews arm is strong enough to battle the wind. We just won't be able to kick any FGs
BillsGuyInMalta Posted October 17, 2004 Author Posted October 17, 2004 Fiedler threw into the wind pretty good.....why can't Drew? 72883 That is the million dollar question...why cant Drew inspire this team?
justnzane Posted October 17, 2004 Posted October 17, 2004 hahaha. Bledsoe looked good today(considering the elements). no picks, didn't take 80 sacks, and threw a touchdown

sven233 Posted October 17, 2004 Posted October 17, 2004 McGahee = Wins He looked really good overall today.........Great stiff-arm!!

Rubes Posted October 17, 2004 Posted October 17, 2004 It was good to finally see our offense put a game away when it counted. Strong running by McGahee and Burns got the job done against a stout defense. Kudos.
VABills Posted October 17, 2004 Posted October 17, 2004 The other thing is, if that first pass to Evans doesn't get carried too far by the wind, this game isn't even close.
Wraith Posted October 17, 2004 Posted October 17, 2004 What can I say, I have a mind for the game 73017 Except Bledsoe played a great game. His played well, the second half especially, and the fact that he showed nice touch on those short passes into the wind on two long drives without taking any sacks was equally important to Willis. Not to take anything away from Willis, because he was awesome and showed a ton of heart, but the running game was being picked up by the passing game just as often as the passing game was bailed out by the running game (as it should be).
