Mark Vader
Thomas Smith: Yes he had hands of stone, but he blanketed his receivers. In fact he made the game clinching INT against Dallas in 96? 97? He was covering Deion Sanders on that play. Matt Darby: Good DB. He also made a game winning INT against Dallas in 93. Al Edwards: If I remember correctly he had 6 or 7 catches in one game, when the Bills had some receiver injuries. Don Smith: Reliable RB. He also scored the first ever Bills TD in a Super Bowl. John Davis: The forgotten man of a great offensive line.
Bleed Bills Blue
I think John Parella deserves a mention. Maybe Gary Baldinger, too. In a couple years you can add Coy Wire to the list.

"Mad Dog Maddox". I can never forget the tape clip of Darryl Talley leaping over the line in a "Spiderman" outfit...was he about to crush Esiason? A classic from NFL Films. ChevyVanMiller
How about Don Smith, the Bills third down back in 1990. He had a sweet dive over the pile TD in Superbowl XXV

webtoe
Wasn't he the LB that made the game saving INT against the Jets in that crazy wild card game? He was a safety. The same safety that got beat late for a TD in the 1980 Playoff game against the SD Chargers. On a side note. I truly believe that was the Bills 2nd best shot at a Super Bowl. The team had an excellent defense, with many of the names mentioned here, and would have hosted Oakland the next week, and played then played a mediocre Philadelphia team in the Super Bowl. The 1980 team is my favorite team of all time so I love a lot of the names mentioned: Sherm White Ben Williams Shane Nelson Mario Clark Steve Freeman Charles Rhomes Isaiah Robertson Jim Haslett Freddy Tony Greene Jeff Nixon Ken Jones Reggie McKenzie Will Grant Conrad Dobler Joe Devlin Reuben Gant Jerry Butlet Frank Lewis Lou Piccone Joe Cribbs Rosey Leaks and of course my all time favorite Bill: Joe Ferguson!
