Rockinon Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 Here is some info reguarding the guy. http://www.goarmysports.com/ViewArticle.db...p;Q_SEASON=2007 http://www.nypost.com/seven/09192007/sport...eld_general.htm He was a wrestler!!! http://www.chatshoppe.com/berwickwrestling.../honor_viti.htm http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/profile.php?pyid=72937 I don't know that he will make it in the NFL, but this is one very serious athlete. I have a hunch the kid is going raise a few eyebrows at the very least.
PromoTheRobot Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 Here's a nickname for Viti: TANK. I think it fits. PTR
MattM Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 Many thanks for the research. I really liked the way the Bills recruited this kid--telling him they wanted him even though they may not be drafting him and telling him they weren't planning on bringing in any other rookie FBs. I also really hope he makes the team.
Rockinon Posted May 5, 2008 Author Posted May 5, 2008 He may be a great to have in goal line situations.

keepthefaith Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 Here's another interesting read: http://www.recordonline.com/apps/pbcs.dll/...PORTS/708130341 A smart, hard-nosed and talented fullback with great leadership qualities would be a great addition to the Bills. We'll see if he can fill the void.
swede316 Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 5'10, 242 lbs...and bench presses 470 lbs...Holy Crap!!! I wouldn't want to piss him off in a bar.

Just hope this translates into a football career. I'm also a veteran and love rooting for an under dog like this. If he is anyhing like Sam Gash, he'll make overly aggressive linebackers pay with pain.
colin Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 i don't know if i'd call him an underdog. i think he'll make the team and play special teams and be put in in certain situations. just because he wasn't drafted doesn't mean the fo doesn't have a good idea of what to do with him. using him to mash into a target guy (smallish lb is good) early might pay dividends later on in the 4th on 3rd and short.

The small guy will kick his behind. Small players are what counts, no?

I would not be looking forward to a collision with Viti followed immediatly by a collision with Lynch. That could get old by the middle of the 4th quarter.

scribo Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 I just want to see Viti barrel past Dockery and Peters as a lead blocker to put his unbelievable arms straight through Bruschi's chest -- and I mean through it.
