Buftex
Then why did he lie about the gun and try to hide it? The gun, and the lie about where it was, is the most incriminating part of the story...
OCinBuffalo
Did you buy the "I went to Kensington and survived" t-shirt to commemorate your visit? No because I had no interest in pulling out my wallet or showing any cash whatsoever. I was dropping off a moving van. My buddy was waiting in his car and he said people on the street started looking at him like a mark. When I cam out he's like: "get in" and then it was Dukes of Hazard out of there. I still don't think it was a big deal but he swears we were about 5 minutes away from a real problem. Regardless, there is literally no reason to go there, for anything. Kinda like Camden, except I used to go over their for concerts once in a while, ferry was cool.

FluffHead
Why would someone with his money be hanging out in North Philly? I believe that is where Marvin is from

Steely Dan
The gun, and the lie about where it was, is the most incriminating part of the story... If that's exactly the way it happened he's more than screwed. How many custom made Belgian weapons are out there? He can't argue very effectively that the gun wasn't his. Police came to scene, but the victim did not identify a shooter. On Wednesday, according to the source, ballistic tests showed that the gun that had fired the shots was a custom-made Belgian weapon, and police determined that Harrison owned such a gun. IDBillzFan
If this turns out bad for Marvin, let's at least be thankful that it was Marvin Harrison and NOT someone like Vince Wilfork. Hell, if Wilfork shot someone, Goodell would be forced to fine him something like thirty seven bucks.
OCinBuffalo
Wuss. That's fine. But consider this: my buddy is 6' 5" and usually around 300lbs, although he said he lost weight(BS ). I have never seen him scared like that, so I dunno. I have certainly seen him whip a lot of ass, usually standing right next to him, so something must have been up. Got_Wood
I wouldn't jump to any conclusions here. First of all, he owned the bar. So, he has the right to protect his property. This guy may have been threatening him or his customers. Second of all, this sound like it's straight out of the movie Casino! I love it. He was just takin' care of business like DeNiro. In all seriousness though, wait for the facts to come out. The media always jumps on to stories and portrays someone as guilty before the case has been decided in court. The media has nothing on the criminal justice experts right here at TSW. It's our own private Law & Order. Everything should be wrapped up by page 5 of the thread. On Wednesday, according to the source, ballistic tests showed that the gun that had fired the shots was a custom-made Belgian weapon, and police determined that Harrison owned such a gun. This is the part that is troubling...although, this all depends on the word of an unknown source: Police then went to a Philadelphia car wash owned by Harrison to question him about the gun. Harrison admitted owning such a weapon, but claimed it never left his suburban Philadelphia home. However, the source said the gun was discovered in a bucket at the car wash, and tests showed that it had fired seven bullets that matched those found at the scene. Max Fischer
Minister: He was a loner, and a quiet young man. He attended church, and Sunday School. I remember he was always very polite. Ted Koppel: Do you believe he killed Buckwheat? Minister: Oh, yes. Definitely. That’s all he talked about.
shrader
Did I hear things on sportscenter correctly? Did the guy that was shot at have a ridiculously colorful criminal record? It sounded like he's the kind of guy who is a bit more likely to be shot at. I wouldn't be surprised if this guy laid out some very serious threats.
