BuffaloBilliever Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 Giants: 1. Aaron Ross, CB 2. Steve Smith, WR 3. Jay Alford, DL 4. Zak DeOssie, LB 5. Kevin Boss, TE 6. Adam Koets, OT 7. Michael Johnson, DB 7. Ahmad Bradshaw, RB Bills: 1. Leodis McKelvin, CB 2. James Hardy, WR 3. Chris Ellis, DL 4a. Reggie Corner, DB 4b. Derek Fine, TE 5. Alvin Bowen, LB 6. Xavier Onom, RB 7. Demetrius Bell, OT 7. Kevin Johnson, WR 7. Kennard Cox, DB First three picks are identical, flipped the LB/TE rounds, flipped the OT/RB picks... and a 7th round DB. We of course got an extra DB and WR, but that draft put the Super Bowl in sight for them, what could it do for us? I don't know if this has been caught by anyone else yet...
MartyBall4Buffalo Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 Lol... how did you notice that one? I think he looked it up

Yeah, but their 3rd was a DT and ours was a DE but close enough. Another thing that is different is that they had more guys from big time elite programs who were more battle tested. We have a lot of guys from no name programs.
BuffaloBilliever Posted April 29, 2008 Author Posted April 29, 2008 Lol... how did you notice that one? Penn State fan, so knew that Alford went in the third... then was wondering what McKelvin would do and remembered Ross went in either first or second and Smith was the other, so I did some research
drnykterstein Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 Penn State fan, so knew that Alford went in the third... then was wondering what McKelvin would do and remembered Ross went in either first or second and Smith was the other, so I did some research It's pretty funny. Let's hope it's an omen (and that Ellis knows how to bodyslam Brady like Alford does)
BuffaloBilliever Posted April 29, 2008 Author Posted April 29, 2008 It's pretty funny. Let's hope it's an omen (and that Ellis knows how to bodyslam Brady like Alford does) Amen to that.
silvermike Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 And they signed Kawika Mitchell that offseason.
Ball'n Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 And they signed Kawika Mitchell that offseason. That makes it even funnier.
whaler Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 That makes it even funnier. Would a Shockey transaction to us be out of the question?..... .....
WWVaBeach Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 I was aware of the similarities already since I have memorized all 32 teams draft picks for 3 years running.
BuffaloBilliever Posted April 29, 2008 Author Posted April 29, 2008 Would a Shockey transaction to us be out of the question?..... ..... If Royal gets hurt and Fine becomes a stud... I'll lose it, haha.
ricojes Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 And they signed Kawika Mitchell that offseason. They also had a huge question mark at QB and a head coach every Giant fan wanted to get rid of...
