Astrobot Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Knowing what we know, and when players were picked, how would you have picked players? You must pick players BELOW the Bills' picks. My first 2 picks would have been exactly what the Bills did: 1- McKelvin, Leodis CB - Best CB in the draft 2- Hardy, James WR - Tallest WR, obscene TD per game avg. 3- Cottam, Brad TE - In retrospect, you grab TE here; they came off fast. 4- Adibi, Xavier OLB 4- Schmitt, Owen FB 5- Okam, Frank DT 6- Johnston, Brian DE 7- Adams, Chester OG 7- Barton, Kirk OT 7- Smith, Paul QB

Owen Schmitt FB- Schmitt and Lynch would leave a lot of LBs black and Blue I like the Bills last 4 picks

Did you take an OLB?

Did you take an OLB? no - might be harsh but I think the Bills could have got Bowen as a UDFA- just don't think too many teams are rushing to get a 6,1 220 LB who runs a 4.83 - just my opinion
Dwight Drane Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 1) Brandon Albert G Virginia 2) Malcolm Kelly WR Oklahoma 3) Jermichael Finley TE Texas 4) Kennan Burton WR Kentucky 4b) DeMario Pressley DL NC State 5) Dominique Barber S Minnesota 6) Mike Hart RB Michigan 7) Simeon Castille CB/S Alabama 7b) Adam Bishop TE Nevada 7c) DJ Hall WR Alabama I don't mind the early corner, but I think every possible extra moment Edwards gets, be it a better blocker or receiver, is worth gold. I was much more bullish about the team before the draft, but maybe the defense and special teams have made enough improvements to make us a wild card team. I really don't like Hardy for the simple reason he is underdeveloped down low. He may have good straight line speed, but I think he lacks a quick burst of a Malcolm Kelly and he is open to hip pointer/groin injuries as well as knee hyperextension just from his lanky build. He was the one guy out of the top 4 WRs that I didn't want. We shall see.
