Bill from NYC Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 This pick reminds me a lot of when we drafted Jason Peters. He was as raw as a player could be, but the scouts and coaches were going apeshit over his potential. Wouldn't it be great if we could see the same results? We didn't draft Jason Peters.
Beerball Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 he put up 225 an amazing 10 times! thats almost as strong as lindel!!!!!!! Yeah, the arms look pretty skinny for a kid his size, but that's 'easy' to fix in the weight room. Decent feet, interesting prospect.
Beerball Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 We didn't draft Jason Peters. Even better, he picked us!
Lurker Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 http://www.onnetworks.com/videos/draftguys...l?autoplay=true Just started playing football in 2005! RAW, but worth it at LT. With his limited experience, he sounds like Peters...boom or bust. Gotta be a practice squad guy this year I suspect.

Lurker Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 or back up. I can't see a kid with two years of organizied football ever hitting the field in 2008, no matter how bad the injury situation.
SDS Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Other than Peters, can anyone ever think of a time these projects work out? I can't. Dan Brandenburg anyone?
Oneonta Buffalo Fan Posted April 27, 2008 Author Posted April 27, 2008 Other than Peters, can anyone ever think of a time these projects work out? I can't. Dan Brandenburg anyone? That might be so....but we can still hope. Hey if Peters can do it why can Bell.
Grouse89 Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 are the s-x toys you girls using red, white and blue? this guy is getting cut within the next four months- if not sooner. There is a reason he was picked 217. I bet ralph is the only one still in the war room. wow negitive nancy Peters wasn't drafted at all god he isn't any good lets cut him right now. why is he even starting on our football team? f peters udfa's suck
justnzane Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Other than Peters, can anyone ever think of a time these projects work out? I can't. Dan Brandenburg anyone? George Wilson Antonio Gates Stephen Neal Just ones I can think of off of my head recently

Bet your bottom dollar...." His pedegree sounds like Peters, but his PFW bio doesn't: "High hipped, narrow waisted, built like a basketball player...plays too small, not instinctive or aware....would be best in a finesse zone scheme..."

jad1 Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 This guy is only listed at 263 lbs, and he's 24 years old. If he can block kicks or long snap, he could be a special teamer, but he'll never gain the weight to be even a backup tackle.
MattM Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 George WilsonAntonio Gates Stephen Neal Just ones I can think of off of my head recently good comeback! need to be positive on draft day!

Lurker Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Thanks. I needed more good news. Must be a typo. PFW has him listed at 303.
jad1 Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Thanks. I needed more good news. He could be a pretty good blocking tight end. (If he can catch and run routes. )
LynchMob23 Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Thanks. I needed more good news. Bill, He's up to 303 now...
