Oneonta Buffalo Fan Posted April 27, 2008 Author Posted April 27, 2008 Xavier Omon? The Bills brass is just fu**ing with us now. He'll be a great ST. You know that ST is part of this team right. We lost a lot of good ST players this offseason so I like seeing them rebuilding it.
bdelma Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Xavier Omon? The Bills brass is just fu**ing with us now. What would you do then select a QB?
Fingon Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 They are simply drafting for special teams since the third or fourth round. The brass recognizes a transition year for our coverage teams due to the loss of key players. Depth atr runningback is never a bad thing--Dwayne Wright might not pan out. My question is what is their plan for center? They must not like any on the board and will wait for next year. We have 3 seventh round picks. There are some good centers still left (they are developmental projects though).
elegantelliotoffen Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Notes: Could also potentially project to fullback in the NFL...Division II's leading rusher in 2007 and led his team to the National Championship game...North / South runner who is a jack-of-all-trades but master of none..Not starting material but can make a roster and contribute in a number of different ways...Was dominant as his level and has emerged as one of the best small school prospects in the 2008 NFL Draft. Sounds like a FB or maybe even a Leroy Hoard type back.
bartshan-83 Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 He'll be a great ST. What makes you say that? Just curious...
Tim Anderson's Lunch Pail Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 I really like Omen. I think he will be a nice weapon to spell Lynch in the red zone if necessary. A center or depth on the OL would have been nice, but I can't argue with selecting a guy with Omen's abilities in the sixth round.
Oneonta Buffalo Fan Posted April 27, 2008 Author Posted April 27, 2008 Is this a Bad Omon? Oh come on. We are having a great draft. We just got our possible FB and a great ST player. This is not that bad of a pick.
Ramius Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Why because you don't see Penn State and Ohio St. They are simply drafting for special teams since the third or fourth round. The brass recognizes a transition year for our coverage teams due to the loss of key players. Depth atr runningback is never a bad thing--Dwayne Wright might not pan out. My question is what is their plan for center? They must not like any on the board and will wait for next year. Looks like some broken sarcasm detectors. I am hoping they will snag a OC in round 7. justice is still on the board.
bdelma Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 What makes you say that? Just curious... Cause everyone who is drafted late is a special teamer! I guess
In space no one can hear Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 What would you do then select a QB? No I wouldn't. I'd take a dump on your head.
Dwight Drane Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Xavier Omon? The Bills brass is just fu**ing with us now. Ralph gave direct orders to draft guys with short names so he "Won't have to pay good money for all that G'Dm Stitching!"
Lurker Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 He'll be a great ST. You know that ST is part of this team right. Yep. I'm sure we'll se a lot of the punt team if Peters or Dockery go down for any length of time...
Beerball Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Is this a Bad Omon? O mon, that was a very poor pun.
nodnarb Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Xavier Omon? The Bills brass is just fu**ing with us now. And the level of idiocy continues to shine on!
brambills Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Oh come on. We are having a great draft. We just got our possible FB and a great ST player. This is not that bad of a pick. I was just kidding around... had to with that last name... I still like this year's draft!
Sisyphean Bills Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Yep. I'm sure we'll se a lot of the punt team if Peters or Dockery go down for any length of time... Don't snicker. Punting is the main tenet of Jauron's offensive strategy.
LevysEraII Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 I know this kid is from Div. 2 but you need to take a look at this.
bdelma Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 No I wouldn't. I'd take a dump on your head. Come on down junior!
Oneonta Buffalo Fan Posted April 27, 2008 Author Posted April 27, 2008 Several word to describe him. Flat out SLEEPER/STEAL!
