CJPearl2 Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 and depth. Some of these guys may replace starters in a couple years. Corner could replace McGee in 2-3 years.
Oneonta Buffalo Fan Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 drafting for the sole purpose of rebuilding their special teams. and depth. Some of these guys may replace starters in a couple years. Corner could replace McGee in 2-3 years. Or this year.
Lurker Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Corner could replace McGee in 2-3 years. McGee's contract runs through the 2009 season.
elegantelliotoffen Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 drafting for the sole purpose of rebuilding their special teams. Does anyone remember our specialteams pre Bobby April? Remember how terrible they were? I for one dont want to relive that.
bartshan-83 Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Or this year. Our 4th rounder is going to replace our #1 CB this year? And pass at least two other players on the way?
Ulinski Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 drafting for the sole purpose of rebuilding their special teams. ? Are you saying the TE they drafted cannot possibly beat out the scrubs they have on the roster now ?
Oneonta Buffalo Fan Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Our 4th rounder is going to replace our #1 CB this year? And pass at least two other players on the way? Our #1 Cb this year is McKelvin.
Special K Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 drafting for the sole purpose of rebuilding their special teams. Exactly. Stamer, Haggan, Wire, and Aiken---all gone. That's arguably the four best ST players last year. Plus, day 2 picks are expected to contribute on ST if they want to make an NFL roster anyway.
bartshan-83 Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Our #1 Cb this year is McKelvin. So where is McGee?
Oneonta Buffalo Fan Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 So where is McGee? Probably #2 or #3 depending on how well Greer does in training camp and preseason. However, I do believe that Corner will take over by the the middle of the season.
Pete Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Probably #2 or #3 depending on how well Greer does in training camp and preseason. However, I do believe that Corner will take over by the the middle of the season. McGee is our #1. I like our draft and all, but McGee has done it in the NFL

brambills Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Our 4th rounder is going to replace our #1 CB this year? And pass at least two other players on the way? Don't forget what round McGee was drafted in... history can repreat itself... but not in one year.
Ulinski Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 drafting for the sole purpose of rebuilding their special teams. I doubt that. I think they take shots on obscure players that might be sleepers.
deep2evans Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 What is all this random McGee hate? He is no doubt a legit starting CB. Start him next to Greer, and let McKelvin ease his way into the starting line-up. Let Youboty and Corner fight for the dime spot. Pretty straight forward I think.
billybob Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 drafting for the sole purpose of rebuilding their special teams. ding ding ding no more calls we have a winner the Bills must be much happier in their OL depth than I am

Not as straight forward when you forget about him. That's why Corner was more a luxury pick than anything. And if you think that Greer is going to start over McKelvin when opening day rolls around, you must be smoking something good. If that turns out to be the case, this draft really would be a total farce.
