He said Bowen will become a good starter in a couple of years but contributr to special teams immediately. Also stated that Corner was a good value and he liked the pick. NFLN is not anti-Buffalo like ESPN and are speaking highly of our draft thus far.

Did he really say "he will be a good starter"? Or that "he could play in the league"?

Every single team in the NFL is in trouble if their best o-lineman goes down (IE Orlando Pace). We needed a few impact players before depth on the o-line. Every team prays they stay healthy because if they don't they're in trouble...welcome to the salary cap age. It is beyond ridiculous that people are not happy with this draft especially since you CANNOT grade a draft the day it ends it takes a few years at least. So everyone shut up and realize we've got what could be a shutdown corner and a great WR prospect.

so why not an OL from round 3-5, instead of a flyer late in addition to the total project they took late.

The OL makes up 8-10 of the 53 man roster. the Bills sure don;t commit the same % of resources to maintain the position

We are stuck in a perpetual cycle of the two lines don't matter. Nevermind that they're the most important thing in football we can always find warm bodies to ptu in there. Or maybe convert a TE or two.

You mean because we didn't get 2 DLineman in the offseason named Stroud and Johnson and didn't select another one plus an OT today? And we didn't spend oodles of cash on 2 FA OLineman last season plus extend our All Pro LT?

We should draft lineman with every pick, just to watch the same people whine about not filling needs like CB, TE, and WR. Same crap, different year. Miserable buncha fukks.

I agree with that. They think linemen can be converted to every other position too.

sure they overspent on OL last year-

and will continue to do so - since they refuse to draft them. Even Peters was not drafted.

How painful would it have been to draft an OL somewhere before round 7
